Cooking with Heat!

Yesterday I started a new segment called Cooking with Heat on my blog in which my good friend Susan Romito and I combine our two passions–food and romance novels! For the next few days, she’s sharing some yummy recipes as part of her amazing Super Bowl party menu. I thought I’d share the menu she created here as well. Today’s question is an easy one. I love series. Love, love, love them. Never want to leave the characters. Devoured the Harry Potter books, the Outlander series. I’m addicted to JD Robb’s In Death books and I can’t wait to see the movie of One for the Money because Evanovich’s books crack me up.

What are your favorite book series?

  1. The Queen’s Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner is one of my favourite series – every time I read them I get more out of them – Gen is a great character, and the books are very cleverly plotted. Ok, they are written aimed at YA, but that doesn’t stop me thinking how good they are.

  2. Meg Kinch Says:

Very kewl idea with the food and the romance! All of those recipes look very interesting and I will definitely be looking into them, also might tackle Susan myself to get them. 🙂

I am a HUGE fan of series books and have quite a few… I love ALL of Viola Grace’s Books – The Terran Times, the Sector Guard, The D.A.R.E. Project (with Tianna Xander), and the starting of Tales of the Citadel. (I’m re-reading quite a few of those books right now, so I know them right offhand.) A couple of others are Dark Series by Christine Feehan, Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward, Dark-Hunter, Dream-Hunter, & Were-Hunter by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and the Midnight Breed by Lara Adrian… Non-paranorma – Hannah Howell and her Highlanders. Crap, there are tons more, but they just aren’t clicking in my mind at the moment.

I have a couple one is KGI series by Maya Banks and the Breed series from Lora Leigh. I can not wait for the books to come out to find out what is happen next and who the book is going to be about.

  4. Lorelei James’s Blacktop Cowboys and Rough Riders
    Maya Banks’ Sweet

Ahhh, heck, Mari I’m drinking my first cup of coffee and have a headache. I know there are lots more but my mind is mush.

  5. Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changelings
Lora Leigh’s Breeds (I’m hanging in there with the crummy editing)
    Alyssa Day’s Warriors of Poseidon
Viola Grace’s books are always series and I buy them all

    And, so many more.

  6. The Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton is one of my favorite series, but I also very much like Lila Dubois’ Monsters in Hollywood and wish that she’d write about a million of them, and Laurann Dohner’s New Species and Cyborg Seduction series are tops in my list of re-reads when I need something spicy to sink my teeth into.

  7. Mary Preston Says:
