Favorite Things: Movies – Valerie and Lila

Valerie’s Favorite Movies

Choosing a favorite movie is so hard!

Here goes.  Don’t judge!

  1. Her Minor Thing (OK, this stars Christian Kane, but whatever)
  2. While You Were Sleeping, with Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman
  3. The Quiet Man, with John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara
  4. Armaggedon, with Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck
  5. Tangled.  Yes, the animated movie.

What do you mean “Don’t Judge”?

I don’t even know what to do with that statement. Or that movie list, OYE WOMAN.

  1. Because I’m in a holiday mood: Elf. I love that movie so hard. “People don’t believe in Santa, there’s a rumor going around that the parents do it.”  “SANTA!”
  2. The Maltese Falcon. I’m not %100 sure I have it all worked out, but it’s fun to try and follow the plot. When are double breasted suits coming back? “Talking is not something you can do judiciously unless you keep in practice.” Ignore htat video clip. This is the one I really want to show you: The Hottie and the Nottie – because Paris Hilton is my favorite actress in the whole wide world.
  3. Dangerous Beauty. This movie is proof that the cool, smart girls give good head, and have better clothes. (So, meh, the whole Spanish inquisition thing was lame, but hey, it implied that the English King liked it kinky and may have taken it up the butt. Good times.)
  4. The Thomas Crown Affair. Original and remake. I love the soundtrack to the remake.
  5. Beauty and the Beast. Best movie ever, no contest. If only we could cut out the crappy bit where he turns into the blond dude. Again, ignore that clip. This is the real one: Showgirl. Best movie ever. No contest. Is this the most romantic kiss you ever saw?
