Four Days!
It’s four days until I leave for RT and I’m finally feeling a little excited. (*snort* try bouncing off the walls) Bought a new wrap/top thingy today (along with an armload of books) which I’ve washed (the wrap thing not the books) and once it’s dry I’ll be putting it in here….
But I thought I should get a start on filling the bags so I headed for my wardrobe and after TWENTY minutes ended up with this…..
Yep, a t-shirt and pair of jeans. *sigh* This is gonna get nasty I can just feel it. Aside from those I’ve got my toiletries bag ready to go (never unpacked from last weekend) and I’m pretty sure I’m buying some new clothes in LA (sshh, don’t tell Mr.C.) but other than that I haven’t a clue what to pack. Is it cold in LA right now? I hate the cold and I’ll just have a miserable time if I freeze (not to mention the hell I’ll make everyone else’s lives *grin*) so I need to know these things which of course will require research. In other words I’ll be emailing Lila and finding out what the temps have been like and whether or not the hotel has the air-con cranked right up to sub-arctic. I will be packing my stripper jacket….what? Doesn’t everyone have one? Oh, alrighty then, moving right along……*grin*
So peeps, what do I need? And will you all get offended if I say I’m probably bringing three pairs of shoes and no make-up?

Darn if I know what it’s like in CA. I live on the other coast. But my packing list would include comfortable shoes, something to fly in that you don’t mind spending hours in, books for the plane, credit card and passport. Oh yeah, take along a sense of humor and patience.

Ok now I am worried. I haven’t even brought my luggage home from the storage unit yet. I arrive at RT on Tuesday. I know I’ll overpack. I always do. I must remember to save room for all of the books I buy. I can’t even imagine what I will do if I win a Club RT basket. Perhaps I should pack an empty box for shipping books home. I am an RT Virgin so I’m pretty sure I won’t pack everything I need. LOL

Awww RC calm down. I’m sure your Aussie sisters will not let you leave home untill they’re satisfied you wont emba…er..be without anything 😀

Warm weather in LA right now so hopefully it remains that way for RT convention. You should be good with casual wear & maybe a sweater just in case it gets cold. Hope your suitcase has gotten a bit fuller *grin*
