6 Shades of Mari

I’ve never really talked about the 50 Shades of Grey phenomena, though certainly I’d have to live under a rock not to know about this book and its impact on erotic romance. I’ll confess that I haven’t read any of the series. I’ve heard mixed reviews–some good, some bad–so I suppose I’m hesitant to go there, simply because my Kindle is loaded with unread books by authors I love. When I manage to squeeze in reading time, I find myself falling back on my own list of tried and true authors.

I’ve seen many, many lists from various sources that use the old “Read 50 Shades? Now try this.” Heck, I’ve created tons of these lists in my high school library for kids who are always looking for something like “A Child Called It” or “Twilight” or “Perfect Chemistry.”

So today, for fun, I thought I’d throw my own hat in the 50 Shades ring with something I’m calling 6 Shades of Mari. What the heck. Here are some of my books which have a BDSM theme. So…if you liked 50 Shades, maybe you’ll enjoy these too.
