Anne's New Release & Favorite Movie

This week we’re supposed to list our favorite movies, but I’m changing things up a little with my post. Instead of several movies, I’ve chosen one. A movie that moved me all three times I watched it.

There’s not been that many movies that left a lasting impression on me. When my husband and I watched The Bucket List with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, who are such phenomenal actors, we were positive it’d be a winner. And while I generally don’t like sad endings, this time I broke my own rule and watched a movie that was sure to end sad to some degree.

The thing is, it left me with a sense of peace. After it was over, my husband and I looked at each other and we just felt this overwhelming happiness, ya know? It’s not easy to be in love and happy after 18 years of marriage and two kids. I realized how lucky I am to find someone to spend the rest of my life with.

Nothing in life or love comes easy or free. But the things that make life and love worthwhile are worth working to obtain and keep!
