This week in bondage: Hunting Passions
In Hunting Passions I again explored the idea of socially structured bondage, but instead of a fantasy world as with the Zinah series, in Hunting Passions it’s a contemporary world where weres are real. This book has several things going on–it’s a menage, it’s a shifter story, and it has a strong BDSM theme.
The book centers around the story of a male werewolf and female werefalcon filling out an age old tradition of going to life with an English lord. The arrangement was set up because in times past that same English lord protected the were clans, and the tradition continues to this day. The problem is this particular lord–William–distrusts the weres who are now bound to him for the rest of his life. To tell the truth his a bit of a bastard–I love a good reformed asshole hero.
This story takes place in England. I wrote it while living there and it contains a lot of my observations (and irritations) around England.
Hunting Passions
William, the newest Lord of Eahrington, is a modern man living a medieval life. As payment for a centuries old debt were-wolf Christoffer and were-falcon Mirela arrive at William’s home—his Hunting Pair.
Scared by his past, William treats them like animals, locking them away. What he didn’t expect was his attraction to each of them. William must learn to trust the falcon and wolf before he can open his heart to their human halves. Destined to be together forever, their only hope at happiness is to learn to love one another, but can William overcome his past?
