Royal Wedding

Ok, so who’s gonna watch?  I have to be at work today, but I’m DVRing it.  And I’ll try to sneak in some video at work.  Heh.  Click on the picture and it’ll take you to the live stream of the wedding.

How many of you remember when his mother married Prince Charles?  I’m dating myself, but it was so beautiful.  Even with the ugly dress.  I know it probably took an army to make it, but it was just too much.  For such an elegant woman, that dress was hideous.  Sorry!  I hope Kate’s is as stylish and elegant as she is and not some frou frou monstrosity.

I know I’m not a Brit or a subject of the crown, but it’s still cool.  Every little girl’s dream to be a princess.  And now Kate will be Queen someday.  It’ll be great for this generation to have this royal wedding.

Hot guys…

These are subjective of course, but it’s still nice to look at them.

Isn’t Chris Hemsworth pretty?  The new Thor.  Anyone besides me going to see it?

The new face of the Bourne movies, Jeremy Renner.  Not sure how I feel about that franchise, but Jeremy is a cutie.  And he’s aged quite nicely.

Jambrea’s boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds.  Can’t wait for The Green Lantern movie this summer.

Zachary Levi.  This is my favorite picture of him.  I love him in Chuck and he did the voice of Flynn on Tangled.  He’s such a cutie.

 

And one of the few blond guys I like, Paul Walker.  He’s such a nice guy too.  I saw him on Ellen the other day.  Just a doll.

I have a secret…

Okay… it’s not that big of a secret.  Here it is: I’m a writer too.  Not a published writer, mind you, but a writer nonetheless.  I’ve actually submitted a book.  I got an R & R (revise and resubmit).  It’s been resubmitted.  Eeek.

I’ve actually been writing for a long time.  I’ve got folders and folders filled with stories and ideas. I just never got from A-Z in the stories.  Until recently.  Some of them are A-B-C.  Some are B-L-Z.  And all flavors in between.

So why start writing now?  Well, oddly enough, I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea.  I now have a sleep machine.  What does that have to do with writing?  Believe it or not, dreams.  This machine gives me the ability to sleep and have REM sleep.  The dreams are vivid.  Extremely detailed and vivid. 

Now I have an outlet for these dreams.  Writing.  As soon as I get up, I write down the basic plot points from the dreams.  And when I have time (ha!), I sit down and write.  Wild, huh? I thought that maybe I could have a chance at becoming a published author.

One story is at the editor’s now.  And another story is going to be submitted for an anthology call at Samhain. 

Crazy?  Probably.  Fun?  Yes.  Immensely.

Who knows what the future holds?  I have no idea, but the journey sure is fun.

My favorite TV shows

Continuing on with yesterday’s post, I wanted to share my favorite TV shows.

Number one – Castle.  Duh.  Hello?  Nathan Fillion.  Do you really need another reason to watch? Look at this face.

Lucky, lucky woman.

Number two – Hawaii 5-O.  The show is really good.  I didn’t think they’d be able to really work this new version so that it was as good or better than the original.  If you don’t know about the original, well… pffft on you.  The main reason to watch?  Alex O’Laughlin.  Yes, Mick from Moonlight.  He’s so sexy.  And if you catch him in an interview, that Aussie accent is so hawt.  Yummy.

Reason #2 to watch.  Scott Caan.  Holy moly.

Need I say more?  No?  Good.  Go watch. 

Third favorite show is Leverage.  Yes. Christian Kane.  Holy hotness, Batman.  I’m really not a big fan of long hair on guys.  But for Christian I will make an exception.  Wouldn’t you?

And he sings too!  Yes, he has his own playlist on my iPod.

And last, but not least, has nothing to do with hot guys.  Really.  It’s a new show with Dana Delaney.  Body of Proof.  Really good show. It also stars Jeri Ryan (for you sci-fi geeks, she was Seven of Nine on Star Trek Voyager.  And, coincidentally, she was on Leverage too). 

Dana also starred on Castle.  Heh.

So, what’s your favorite TV show or shows this season?
