Nothing like staying up late to get things done is there? Been playing catch up while everybody else is asleep, including the new baby, who is sleeping right next to the computer right now.
Now that Slow Burn is to be released(which will be when, I must have missed that info somewhere)what is next?

Awww. How awesome. Babies are the best!

Next is the story I’m co-writing a story with Jambrea. We’re halfway done so still quite a bit to go.

I have DEFINITELY enjoyed this event! Thanks guys for doing this. I have discovered several new writers & enjoyed some DELICIOUS eye candy. I hope you guys do something like this again.

Thanks for the fun post and great pictures. Where do you find all of the hot pictures?

  5. Awesome week JR! The men, the contest, the teasers on the new book, loved it all. You are a new to me author, so do you enjoy writing m/f or m/m better?

    • j.r. patrick Says:

      Thanks Mai!

I haven’t tried my hand at m/f yet. Not sure if I will. One of the characters in Only Yours, S.J. needs a HEA. I started her story but then it changed on me and pushed her into the background so the story is m/m right now and poor S.J. is nowhere near HEA.

  6. I have enjoyed getting to know more about each of you, the eye candy and book excerpts. I see you are working with Jambrea – that is just awesome. So did you just come up with a book idea while chatting? What has been the most challenging part for you, or have you written with someone before?

    • j.r. patrick Says:

Jambrea is awesome! She’s like the sister I never had. Wait. I have a sister. She’s like the 2nd sister I never had! :)

We came up with the idea when MLR put out the call of their I Do Two antho. We didn’t finish in time to be considered for the antho but we continued working on the story.

The most challenging part is getting my words down and sending the story back to Jambrea. I’ve heard the whole “write everyday” spiel and that simply does not work for me. I have to be in the mood to write. It doesn’t matter how long I stare at my WIP, if I’m not in the mood, it will remain a blank page. :( Jambrea has been very patient with me!

  7. What a fun week! I’ve loved all the eye candy and excerpts too. My question is this…What’s your favorite character you’ve written so far?

    • j.r. patrick Says:

S.J. from Only Yours. I like to think she’s a lot like me. My hubby assures me that she’s not. But what does he know? ;)
