Spotlight Sunday.

This weeks spotlight falls on the extremely talented award winning Graphic Artist  Valerie Tibbs. Man, the things this woman can do with a computer. Her skills as a cover artist are enviable and without her guidance and expertise I know I wouldn’t have been able to convey what I had in mind for my first cover. Without her I never would have gotten the cover I did. She’s taught me how to not only ask for what I imagine but what looks good and sells well.

Valerie is Head Cover Artist for Freya’s Bower/Wild Child Publishing, she’s on staff at Aspen Mountain and Awe-Struck, as well as freelancing for Amira Press, Pink Petal, and Sugar and Spice. So you’ve more than likely come across one of her covers. But Valerie’s talents don’t stop there. She’s the designer behind International Heat’s gorgeous header and associated banners and buttons. We aren’t the only ones who’ve used Valerie’s skills either. I was not surprised to find myself talking with Amy C at the Lori Foster event and discovering that she too had grabbed our wonderful graphic artist for her blog.

Valerie is my permanent go-to for anything promo related, she’s made signature banners and bookmarks and I plan to do some revamping of my own blogs in the near future which of course will be placed in Valerie’s more than capable hands.
