 So before I get into the questions about your favorite authors I know you recently had a book release at Ellora’s Cave Two Loves For Alex would you like to tell everyone a little bit about the book?

 This is the sequel to Two Masters for Alex, a m/m/f BDSM ménage. In that story, Alex is a sex little sub girl who thinks she’s going to waltz into the lives of two gay lovers and turn their world upside down. Instead she really learns what it is to submit, without the games and without the manipulation she could always get away with with straight guys. That story ended with them inviting her to be their fulltime sub girl, and, while she’s thrilled, she knows the two men can never really give her the romantic love she craves along with the submissive experience she needs. This sequel explores the journey between the three of them—the hot, sexy dynamic between the master Liam and his sub, Daniel, and their connection with the girl who submits to them both. As the title implies, this second novel focuses more on the quest for love. There are many pitfalls along the way, one of which endangers Alex and nearly destroys everything her two men hold dear…

Who are some of your must read authors and why? (2-5 authors if you can please)

 I just finished a Walter Mosley kick, reading everything he’s ever written. My favorite of his are the Easy Rawlins mysteries. They are chronological, following his life from the 40s up through the 70s. He plans to write more of them, but has gotten sidetracked with other series. Easy Rawlins is this regular guy, a sometimes janitor who is black and poor and often in the wrong place at the wrong time. The novels are stark and beautifully written, a compelling journey into what it’s like to be poor and disenfranchised in this country in the 50s and 60s. He’s also a very romantic writer, with a tender, moving sensibility. In a word, he ROCKS!

 I am in the middle of listening to the audio book of The Secret Lives of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. I had never read it before and I am enjoying it VERY much. The young girl who reads it does a fantastic job, and what a moving, poignant story. I’ll definitely be checking out her other work soon.

If you could meet any author/s in the world who would it be and why?

 I would like to meet Harper Lee, who wrote To Kill a Mockingbird, which I think is one of the best books ever written. I would like to meet Carol Lynne, world famous romance author, and guess what? I’m gonna meet her in July!

What book/s are reading right now?

 I just discovered a cool book by a guy named Neal Stephenson, called Snow Crash, that I’m reading now. It’s a wild, very funny look at a futuristic society in which the only things the U.S. now excels at are software code and pizza delivery. Life sucks pretty bad for most people, so they spend most of their time in the “Metaverse”, an online world in which you can be anything you want to be, as long as you can write the code. It’s very funny and fast paced and I’m enjoying it a lot.

If you could choose an author to co-write a book with who would it be?

 Been there, done that! I co-wrote a book with author, JW McKenna. It was called Bird in a Cage, and in fact we got the rights back to it recently. We spruced it up and are releasing it for the first time in print with the new title Lara’s Submission. The premise of the novel is cool, in that we took turns writing the chapters, neither sure where the novel was going until they read the other person’s chapter. It’s a BDSM love affair, and JW wrote from the Dom’s perspective, while I wrote from the sub’s perspective. We then read it together, working through each chapter to make sure we liked its flow and storyline. What emerged was a novel with two distinct voices. It was a good experience! The book will be available on Amazon in a few weeks, and it will also be available as an ebook sometime in the near future. I’ll keep you posted!
