RT is over but the fun doesn’t stop.

Okay so RT is finished and it’s very sad to say goodbye but it must be said. I’ve meet some great authors who I’ve known from online for over a year and finally meeting face to face and putting voices to words has been the high light of RT for me. Plus making new friends in the author community, ones I never would have met otherwise, has given me a whole new set of books to read. LOL No really, I met some great people in the last week, too many to mention but I want to mention a few. Beth Williamson is fantastic. I love her cowboys but after spending some time with her and the shuttle ride to the airport to leave, I love her too. She gave me this lovely little bracelet that her Hubby made, it’s got beads and these cute little charms, a cowboy boot, horse shoe and cowboy hat as well. She has one talented Hubby. Mackenzie McKade is just adorable. She kept referring to herself as a grandma so I just went ahead and adopted her. I’m short on them and if I get to choose then I want her.  And she introduced me to KyAnn Waters who is just as gorgeous. Leila Brown is another new friend I met through Annmarie McKenna. I tell ya, these ladies are just the best. And then there’s Sharis (think Paris) who is sooooo funny and smart and I’m thrilled I got to spend time with her. I might tell you all about the Pirate Dinner theater we went to another time. Gotta say, five erotic romance writers and one erotic romance FLE loose with some half naked dressed as pirates hawt men leads to lots of laughing and lots of interesting ideas.

I really want to thank Nicole Austin for being my mother hen. Yeah, I know, it doesn’t sound like I need one but let me say I’m not good in a room full of people I don’t know, stick me with people I do and everything is fine but I’m out of country and in the middle of over 800 women and men with strange accents and oh boy! serious nerves. But Nic let me shadow her and dragged me around when I needed to be dragged, and generally made sure I didn’t end up a gibbering mess in a corner somewhere. So thanks Nic.

Now photos are proving to be an issue so I’m going to try and get a photo page happening. Hopefully it’ll be up tomorrow but who knows, I’m over the issues with uploading and about ready to pull my hair out. But now that I’m at Mari Carr’s house. Yes people I’M IN HER HOUSE!!!!!!  yippeeeeeeeeee….  I should be able to get something up.

So as I said, RT may be over but the fun doesn’t stop!
