Firsts.

What a week of first we’ve had. International Heat went live (and let me just say I’m glad you’ll came over to check us out), our very own Viv had her first book, Wolf Signs, release and it hit #2 and then #1 on the best seller list at MBaM. Wooohoooo… way to go Viv! And of course this is my first offical blog for IH.

So what to blog about? Let’s start with time zones. We’re all over the place in here. Seriously. In fact I’m not even sure if any of us are in the same zone. I’m in GMT +8 which means it’s already Friday for me. Yay! Living in the future can be a good thing. Except on release day. *sigh* I’ve gotta wait for the rest of the world to catch up before I can buy that book I’m been dribbling over. It was after 9pm before Viv’s book went live for me and I’ve been thinking the publishers should really make an exception for me. I should be allowed to get that book on release day not when it’s almost over. Poor Jess, release day is over for her by the time they go live. OH! I just thought of something, how am I going to cope when it’s MY release day??? Damn. That’s gonna suck.

Speaking of my work…  well I was anyway. I’ve got my first short story being released on April 10 from Noble Romance Publishing. It’s bk1 in a series of shorts about women finding love and lust in a foreign country. It was fun to write ONIB and I’m a third through the second one already. Hoping to have that done in the next couple of weeks but I’m working on another story as well and it’s taking a little bit more effort. CH is a shifter story that was supposed to be a prequel to one I wrote for a call. I didn’t make the cut but I got a very encouraging email asking me to finish the first story and then we could talk about both of them together. Sound like a great incentive to write doesn’t it? We it is and it isn’t. I’m stressing over every word, every action, every plot twist and turn, every sex scene, every….. you get the picture. Quinn and Rowan need to be tackled and wrestled to the ground and reined in. I decided to tackle Quinn, figured Rowan would follow. It seems to be working. *grin*

Did you know we’ve got a category called General Mischief? I didn’t but when I started writing this blog I saw it and thought ooooo…. I want in there! LOL  So what mischief can I get into general or otherwise? I could mess with all the bits and bobs behind the scenes here and screw up the blog but I often do that without trying so that’s out. Um… I could bring out some hunks to serve drinks. Of course they’d be wearing next to nothing and we all know mischief follows nekkid men. I could…  nope can’t go past the nekkid men thing. Let me see, who have I got to share with you, and just in time for the weekend too.

Oh my! *licks lips*
